A skein of light fingering bamboo yarn of 100 grams contains 400 meters of yarn, is super soft and has a beautiful shine. Bamboo is a natural product, breathable and moisture-absorbing. This makes a garment made with this yarn ideal to wear on very warm days, but it is also wonderfully comfortable to wear on cooler days.
Bamboo has relatively little environmental impact because only the above-ground stems are harvested. The stems left behind in the soil grow back quickly. For comparison: on 1 square meter, about 10 times as much bamboo can be grown as cotton.
